Citizenship courses are held continuously all year round at the Columbus Family Resource Center.  Provided by Platte Valley Literacy Association, these classes are designed to prepare individuals for the naturalization interview. Students study U.S. History and Government throughout the course while practicing their Literacy skills.

Citizenship classes are open to the public and are free of charge. All participants must be able to speak, understand, read, and write common English words and phrases. Anyone can join at anytime just please call 402-562-1432 to register.

Class days/time locations:

Mondays 6:00-8:00 pm at PVLA 3020 18th Street Columbus

Saturdays: 10:00 am- 12:00 pm at Schuyler Public Library 108 E 18th Street, Schuyler

Saturdays 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm at Columbus Public Library rm 122 2504 14th Street Columbus

Keep in mind that Children are not allowed in the classroom, and that childcare is not provided by PVLA or the libraries.
