GED® Preparation classes are provided through Central Community College’s Adult Education program. Instruction is aligned with the GED® 2014 test. Four individual tests must be passed to receive a GED® diploma:

  • Reasoning through Language Arts
  • Mathematical Reasoning
  • Social Studies
  • Science

These tests are computer based. All testing must be completed at an official testing center. The four official GED® tests cost $30 per test.

Adult students interested in enrolling in GED® classes must pre-register prior to starting class. Students can ask for registration information during any GED® class held at the Columbus Family Resource Center.

There is no registration fee. So all GED classes are free to the student!
